This newsletter .`The MARINE WAVES’. has emerged, acceding to repeated requests from my near and dear close friends and relatives, particularly from those who were closely associated with me in Shipping, during the last two decades, having known of my qualified with a Competency Certificate from .`Writers Bureau`., U.K. and being a member of the All India Freelance Journalists Association for almost a decade, Member . Chennai Press Club and currently holding the office of the Vice President, All India Freelance Journalists Association.

Hence, I have great pleasure to be amidst the maritime fraternity, after my higher studies in U.K., to extend my sincere services and cooperation, sharing with you all my thoughts, with my wide long experience, by launching the emerged .The Marine Waves.This International Maritime Newsletter, which would provide a unique opportunity to all of us, in the Shipping, Ports, Environment and associated allied fields to interact, keep abreast and enrich ourselves, with the time to time developments, during this surge of scientific and management developments.

It is therefore imperative that we keep our eyes and ears wide open, during this world changing times, identifying the pros and cons and address with a logical reasoning and analytical approach, chalking out the right priorities, leading to the right path, which we intend to move as true professionals, by enhancing our vision, towards scope of future development, with a perception of what more could be done, all for the better to achieve even more safer, more secure and more efficient Shipping Industry, only then we can be sure of all our seafarer brethren, come home safely after their voyages.
